LECTURE//SURREALISM

Surrealism is a cultural movement which aim to liberate thought and  human experience from the oppressive boundaries of rationalism in order to create the world of fantasy and dreamy. It exerted an enormous impact on the lifestyle of the entire world. Artists, photographers, designers and filmmakers all around the world are attracted to share their creative thoughts, artistic design and moral values.

Tips on creating Surrealism Artworks:

1. Sketch It Out  
Take a piece of paper and pen/pencil or a tablet and start to sketch. Draw your vision out roughly. Don't finesse any details yet, but just lay out key points of your vision.

2. Find Reference Images
Gathering reference images will help you greatly in realizing your new idea. Gather images that directly relate to what you have in mind.

Jean Désiré Gustave Courbet 
was a 19th-century French painter who led the Realism movement. Courbet occupies an important place in as an innovator and artist willing to make bold social statements through his work. Realism also known as naturalism, in the arts is generally the attempt to represent subject matter truthfully, without artificiality and avoiding supernatural elements.
