The client decided to use the old packaging, so changed
back to old ones. I also proposed blinking effect for
the lights.

Video Shooting for Week 1's video: Feel It NowDorcas is the main director for this video, and the other three of us are actors in the video. We helped each other to set up the scene based on the storyboard. Thank you, Wendy, for lending her place for this shoot. It was my first time acting in a product advertisement. It was a cool experience! I've also learned how we should rehearse and take some extra footage for backup.

FEEDBACKCodium likes our creative social media and video ideas. They also mentioned that they were satisfied with the outcome we produced. They informed us that most of our video ideas had been approved by the client. They have been posted on Ayamas Official Social Media as well. They valued our effort in writing Malay copywriting and praised how we work together as a team; hence we are enjoying the project and execution.
REFLECTION
Experience: It was a
satisfying experience to work in Codium, were with
work for a real-life client. I'm glad to work with
my teammates to produce work for Ayamas Frozen food.
The journey was exciting when we shared content
ideas and did a lot of video shooting. Before this
module, I did not know how exactly people plan the
content. Now, I understand clearly and realise the
importance of project tracking. People in Codium
were friendly and always willing to give comments
and feedback with an open mind. It was nice to have
a module that wasn't just strictly lecture and
design. I understand physical sessions are better.
However, the travelling time is an issue if we have
back-to-back classes. Suggestions have alternate
weeks of site discussion.
Observations: Working in the
Codium office, we got to observe how a real agency
works, the working atmosphere and how they utilise
their office space for shooting. We also learned how
they simultaneously manage and plan social media
content for different clients. Upon approval, they
showed us the software they use to analyse each
post's engagement and performance. This helped the
team identify the public interest and make suitable
adjustments to the upcoming post.
Findings: I enjoyed meeting
new people, and brainstorming in a group makes me
feel courageous and motivated because I'm not alone.
This is the first time we got the chance to propose
a client correctly. I was nervous initially, but
when the time goes, it was not as scary as I
thought. Besides, shooting takes a lot of time, but
we must rehearse the storyboard before we start
shooting. We also must consider the weather and the
lighting and prepare all the equipment and props
needed. Overall, we tried our best with our skills
and knowledge and are glad that the Codium team
appreciated our efforts!
