FINAL DISSERTATION
After the draft for the dissertation is done, we received feedback from Ms Jinchi. We begin to refine the details of the dissertation and come out with a few concepts for our book.

FEEDBACK
Week 2: Show matrix
-Form discussion structure
-Extract the MAIN themes: Form the sequence, identify subtopics
-Some repeated themes may be grouped under the same big topic
-2 main chunk: Advertisement (product fast food,advertisement) & User (consumer, experience)
-In between can be (user attention)
-Introduce: this research is specifically based on 2 fast food brands
-Rich data, avoid lengthy and repeating 

Week 3: Confirm discussion structure, and complete the first part (descriptive) of the discussion.
5.0 Can include a short intro about the analysis, intro there's (3 main sections) further elaboration
5.1 Contextual - Arora, 2020 move up
5.1.1 Subway - incorporate visual element, picture of Subway  entrance/logo) to make writing more interesting

*Good practice to put the reference list below para
*Background writing is okay, enough words
*Discussion of what participant answer discussed in 5.3 instead of 5.1
5.2 1000-2000words (focus more) 
5.3 consumer engagement (3 components are important, discuss on the surface as they're not my area studies)
*Focus more on visual impact 5.3.1, not too much on 5.3.2, 5.3.3
Week 5 task: complete 5.2, start with 5.3

W4: Public Holiday

Week 5:
-Provide image to each section
-Remove 5.2.2., can just make it 5 individual sections in 5.2
-Logo: show an image how isit in fast food ads, need more discussion about logo in ads
-Image: good writing, explain picture, short discription (how image work in ads)
-Typo: show 2 posters (describe individually)
-Change in conclusion to "From all of the above, it is plausibly / it is found that..based on these advertisements.
-It is okay to have less content for shapes. Explain why advertisment it have least effect based on your study 
-Discussion in the context, does not mean implicable to all. 
-Suggest future research: other brands, independent brands.
-Next meeting, done until conclusion (10th May)
-Data from focus group no need include all but part of it
-Include analysis in the discussion
-The appendix include a screenshot of email/ consent

Week 6: No class

Week 7:
-5.3 good glow with primary source and secondary source. 
-5.3.1 Last sentences can be smoother
-5.3.2 add one quotation 
-Word count try work within the recommended
-Appedices added (Consent given by interviewees to features their picture)
-Result & analysis add short description before the table.
-Abstract is overall okay, can add RP in after first sentence

Week 8: Independent Learning Week

Week 9: 
-Concept 1 (illustration) might not be suitable because the research topic is about graphic components covering not just illustration. 
-Concept 2 may works better, referring to the McDonald's ads with high contrast. 
-Images can be used, make sure it hv no copyright issue. 
-Try to search for a more appetizing visual. Inside the book (it is better not to use more than two colours for body text).
-Better dont choose a too reddish colour. For typography, can explore more suitable typefaces.
-'The Roles and Impacts' can be different line weights with Graphic Components and add in fast food advertising.
-The concept has to tie to the research topic and RP. Good preparation for E-book may continue. 

Week 11:
-No class, continue work on the E-book and summarise dissertation for Kreate article

Week 12:
-For submission, remember to submit the original word document to Turnitin Report. E-book submits flip link only.
-E-book: cover and layout all good. Consistent and consists of variations. 
-Picture credits for cover no need put figure number
-2 type of image for sub-sections is okay
-Kreate: add Taylor's university, later change all the red colour words into Bold Black
-Remove the word count, and remember to reword 'dissertation' to 'research'
-4 Keywords is fine, fast food & online advertising can combine into one
-The research Methodology adds how long is the period, the number of participants / who are the interviewees. Reminder: research is carried out, so it needs to be in the past tense
