The reason I chose a purple pastel palette as my first attempt is to suit the character of the person in the photo. Different shades, tints and hues of purple have different meanings. Light purple hues represent feminine energy as well as romantic and nostalgic feelings which pretty much fits the character. With the elegant wavy hair, I helped her to put on blushes, eye shadow and put on slightly reddish lips to portrays her beauty.

After I did the first colour scheme, I decided to try on the warm colour series. Peach colour symbolism calm, freshness and warmth which gives the character a more approachable feels.

The first attempt seem to be too pale. So I decided to add more character to this Japanese lady by adding highlight on the flower accessory and the background. I chose yellow-gold colour as it symbolize hope and prosperity.
